The Elora Singers and musicians from the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony perform Burning Measures, a concert experience with three choral masterpieces, spanning centuries.Mark Vourinen, Artistic Director, invites you to enjoy an afternoon of choral music where the past and the present converge, and where music becomes a gateway to the divine. The program includes Tarik O’Regan’s Triptych, Arvo Pärt’s Berliner Messe, and JS Bach’s Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich, BWV 150 and Sanctus in D, BWV 238.

The Elora Singers, under the direction of Mark Vuorinen, has established an international reputation as one of Canada’s finest professional choirs. The Grammy- and JUNO-nominated ensemble is renowned for its diverse styles and recognized internationally for its rich, warm sound and clarity of texture.
